EASTERN QUEENS LOOP

Route by Eastern Queens Greenway

This advanced 21-mile loop begins and ends at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park where you can find some of Queens’ best attractions such as Citi Field, Queens Museum and the Unisphere. From the park, you’ll navigate the streets to the entrance of the Kissena Park Greenway—home of the Kissena Velodrome cycling track. Follow the perimeter of the park to cross the pedestrian bridge to the Cunningham Park Greenway, where you’ll find hiking and mountain biking trails. Hop onto the Vanderbilt Motor Parkway to Alley Pond Park—where you’ll find NYC’s first public high ropes adventure course. Head north to Northern Boulevard where you can carefully make your way to Joe Michaels Mile along Little Neck Bay. Stop at Bayside Marina’s snack bar before continuing on your way up to the historic Fort Totten. Make your way through Little Bay Park and down to Willets Point Boulevard bike lane. Take Union Street (quite busy!) along the edge of Flushing Chinatown back to the starting point. If you have any energy left, take a detour down to Nurlan for Uyghur food.
